As p er the voice of hi s father and mother, J acob went to H aran, in search of L aba n, son of Nahor . there he found some Shepperd, through them he me t Rach el, daughter of L aban his mother's brother . Jacob introduced him se l f to Rach el, then Rachel ran and told about Jacob . Laban heard the tiding s of Jacob his sister 's son, he ran to meet hi m and invited him to his house . Laban had two daughters by name Lea h  and Rachel , Jacob loved Rachel for her he serve d Laban for seven years , the n asked Laban to give Rachel as his wife . Laban gather ed men of the place and made a feast , in the evening Laban g ave his daughter Leah to J acob in the darkne s s , in the morning Jacob came to know Laban gave him Leah instead of Rachel . Issac called Jacob and blessed him and asked hi m not to marry the daughters of Canaan , and asked him to go to Padan -Aran the house of Beth u el , your mother's father and get a wife from daughter s of Laban , yours mother 's brother. Jacob awaked out of his sleep , and said this is the place of God and afraid this is the house of God , G ate of haven . ...

When Issac was old, he called his eldest son Esau and said to him i may die at any t ime , therefore you go to the field and get me some venison a nd prepare it as savo ury meat , i may eat that , my soul may bless you before my dearth . Then Esau went to field to hunt for ve nison . Rebekah heard when Issac sp ak e to E sau and told that matter to Jacob , and asked him to go the flock and fetch t wo good goats . Then Rebekah prepared savoury meat and sen d it to Issac by Jacob , and asked him to act like Esau , and clothed him like Esau .
