Jacob and Bethel
Issac called Jacob and blessed him and asked hi m not to marry the daughters of Canaan , and asked him to go to Padan -Aran the house of Beth u el , your mother's father and get a wife from daughter s of Laban , yours mother 's brother. Jacob obeyed his father and mother and went to Padan-Aran. Jacob went towards H aran , because of sunset he slept , by mak ing a stone as his pillow . In the dream he saw a ladder setup on the earth, the top of the ladder reached to haven and angels of God are ascending and descending on it , Lord s t ood above th e ladder and said " I am The God of Abraham, your father and God of Issac an d I give this land to you and your children. " Your children shall be dust of the earth , and your chil dre d spared abro ad all sides of the place . I will not leave you until i have done , which i have spoken to you .
