Issac called Jacob and blessed him and asked hi m not to marry the daughters of Canaan , and asked him to go to Padan -Aran the house of Beth u el , your mother's father and get a wife from daughter s of Laban , yours mother 's brother. Jacob obeyed his father and mother and went to Padan-Aran. Jacob went towards H aran , because of sunset he slept , by mak ing a stone as his pillow . In the dream he saw a ladder setup on the earth, the top of the ladder reached to haven and angels of God are ascending and descending on it , Lord s t ood above th e ladder and said  " I am The God of Abraham, your father and God of Issac an d I give this land to you and your children. " Your children shall be dust of the earth , and your chil dre d spared abro ad all sides of the place . I will not leave you until i have done , which i have spoken to you . Jacob awaked out of his sleep , and said this is the place of God and afraid this is the house of God , G ate of haven . ...

When Issac was old, he called his eldest son Esau and said to him i may die at any t ime , therefore you go to the field and get me some venison a nd prepare it as savo ury meat , i may eat that , my soul may bless you before my dearth . Then Esau went to field to hunt for ve nison . Rebekah heard when Issac sp ak e to E sau and told that matter to Jacob , and asked him to go the flock and fetch t wo good goats . Then Rebekah prepared savoury meat and sen d it to Issac by Jacob , and asked him to act like Esau , and clothed him like Esau . Issac feared that he may be killed because of fairness of Re bekah . Abrah am said to his eldest servant to br i n g a wife for his so n Issac , from the house of his father . The servant took camels of his master reached to the city of N ahor . The ser van t stopped near a well of water so that women may come to dra w the water in the evening . He p raye d God to show kindness upon his master Abraham. After his prayer a women came to that well with a pitcher , she is no n other tha n Re bekah , the daughter of B e thuel. Th e dam sel is very f air and virgin , she went down to the well , and filled her pitcher and c am e up. The ser van t m et and asked some water for drinking , she gav e water not only to him but also h is camel s . The servant presented gold bracelets and earring  and enquired about his parents , she further promised to provide str aw for his camels and his members a room to l odge in . the servant man bow ed down his head and worshiped the Lord the things h appen ed .             ...

Sarah die d when she was 127year s old , in K ir jath -arba of Canaan . Abraham urged the sons of heth to get a field from Ephron the son of Zohar , to bury his wife . T he sons of heth offered   him field, which ever Abraham likes in that a rea . but Abraham wants to purchase the land for silver , finally he purchased the land for four hundred shekels of silver . When Abraham approach the sons of heth for burying place for his wife , they said " you are mighty prince amon g us . "               Even though he was a stranger in Canaan , he commanded good respect because of his God fearing nature . After some time God tempted Abraham and said to him to take his son to the land of Moriah and offer his son as burnt offering . Abraham rose-up early in the mor nin g saddled his a ss and went to the place which God had told hi m, along with his son and to young m en . Abraham prepa re d every thing to offer his son as burnt offering . when Issac asked his father where was the la m b for bur n t off ering, Abraham replied that God will provide him self a lamb for burnt offering .                Abraham built an alt a r there and l aid the wood in order , Abraham l aid his son in the a lt ar upon a wood, Abraham took knife to slay his son, then angel of God called Abraham not to slay his son . W hen Abraham lifted his eyes he saw a ram behind him then Abraham took that ram and offered it a s burnt offering instead of his son.
