After some time God tempted Abraham and said to him to take his son to the land of Moriah and offer his son as burnt offering . Abraham rose-up early in the mor nin g saddled his a ss and went to the place which God had told hi m, along with his son and to young m en . Abraham prepa re d every thing to offer his son as burnt offering . when Issac asked his father where was the la m b for bur n t off ering, Abraham replied that God will provide him self a lamb for burnt offering .                Abraham built an alt a r there and l aid the wood in order , Abraham l aid his son in the a lt ar upon a wood, Abraham took knife to slay his son, then angel of God called Abraham not to slay his son . W hen Abraham lifted his eyes he saw a ram behind him then Abraham took that ram and offered it a s burnt offering instead of his son. Abraham called that place " Jehovah - Jirah " .                ...

As Promised by the God Sarah gave birth to a son , he was name d as Isaac . on 8th day Is aa c was c ircum cise d as commanded by th e God. when Isaac was weaned , Abraham made a great fe as t on t he same day Is aa c was we aned . the son of Hagar was mocking at Isaac , it was seen by Sarah . Sarah asked Abraham to cast out Hag ar and her son and it was very grievous in A braham 's si gh t because Is hmae l is also his son . God asked Abraham to hear the voice of Sar ah and promised to make Ishmael as a great nation .             Abraham rose up early in the morning and took bread and bottle o f water for Hagar and sen t out , Hag a r and her son. She departed and roaming in the forest of B eer-Sheba . Hag ar was a great sorrow b ecaus e there was no water to feed his son , an angel of God appeared t o Hagar and said do not fear God had heard your voice , God had opened her eyes , then she saw a we ll of water.    ...

Abraham journeyed towards south and lived between K adesh and Shur in Gerar , Abimelech was king of that country , Aga in Sarah taken by Abimelech because Abraham said Sarah was his sister . But God appeared t o Abimelech in t he dream and said you are a dead man for the women which you had taken because she is wife of a man , Abhimelech blamed Abraham and Sarah as they said b rothe r and sisters . because Abimelech was a righteous p ers on God had stopped hi m from doing sin a gains t God . God f urth er said to Abimelech t o restore S arah to Abraham , God said Abraham is a prophet and he will pray for you and you will l ive , if you di d n ot restore you and all that of yours will surely die.                Abimelech rose early in the morning , called all his servants and told the things happened in his dream , after hearing the things all the servants were afraid . Ab imelech called Abraham and said to him what had you done to us ?...

After communicating with Abraham God disappeared . Two angels from heaven appeared to Lot , Lot bowed himself with his face towards the ground , and requ este d the angels to stay with him during the night , he arrange d food to them , before the y sleep men of Sodom surrounded the house of Lot and want to spoil t w o angels. Lot requ ested the men of Sodom not to spoil the angels , in-turn he offered his t w o daughters to the men o f Sodom , but the men of Sodom did not agree and tried to reach the angels , the men of Sodom bec ome blind and did not reach the angels.          The two angels s aid to Lot to bring out his family members from that city , because they are goin g to de stro y the city . When Lot requ este d his son -in - laws to come with him , they mocked at him and did not come. Lot along with his wife and daughters left the city of Sodom , by the help of two angels , t he two angels asked Lot and his family members not to look b...

God appeared to Abraham in the planes of Ma m re , when he sate in the tent when Abraham lifted his eyes he looked three men st oo d by him, he ran to meet them and bowed himse l f towards the ground and requested th em not to go away from that place . he fetched some water to wash there feet and asked to take rest under the tree . Abraham took butter and milk , and a dre sse d calf and put before them God had that food .                                      God remembered Sa rah and promi sed a son to Sarah, but Sarah laughed at God because she is very old woman and her husband is also very old , it is impossible to have a child at that age but God made it possible , nothing is impossible for God.             The men ( Fathe r - Son - Holy spirit ) started towards Sod om , God want ed to disclose the purpose of going to Sodom , God said to Abr...

God Appeared to Abraham a n d remembered the coven ant between Abraham and God . God changed the name o f Abram to Abraham which means father of man y nations , Sarai t o Sarah mother of man y nations . God s aid to Abraham every male child of 8 d ay s old shall circumcise flesh of the fore s kin , it is applicab l e to male child bor n in Abraham 's house as well as children bought with money , for the remembrance of everlasting covenant .             Abraham and his Ismael , and all born in his house a nd others bought with money were  c i r cumcise d the flesh of foreskin on the same day . Abraham was 99 year s when he was circum cised . 

When Abram asked God for children , God promised to give as many children as stars in sky , this promi se wa s believed by Abram without any doubt . believing without any doubt was counted as Righteousness.
