Jacob and Bethel

Issac called Jacob and blessed him and asked him not to marry the daughters of Canaan, and asked him to go to Padan-Aran the house of Bethuel, your mother's father and get a wife from daughters of Laban, yours mother's brother. Jacob obeyed his father and mother and went to Padan-Aran. Jacob went towards Haran, because of sunset he slept, by making a stone as his pillow. In the dream he saw a ladder setup on the earth, the top of the ladder reached to haven and angels of God are ascending and descending on it, Lord stood above the ladder and said  " I am The God of Abraham, your father and God of Issac and I give this land to you and your children. " Your children shall be dust of the earth, and your childred spared abroad all sides of the place. I will not leave you until i have done, which i have spoken to you. Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and said this is the place of God and afraid this is the house of God, Gate of haven. Jacob rose-up early in the morning and took the stone that he used as pillow, and set it up as pillar and poured oil upon it, Jacob named that place Bethel, but the name of the city is Luz. Jacob vowed a vow saying God is with and keep me in this way that i go, i will surely give one-tenth of my earnings.

" This is the promised made by Jacob for giving one-tenth of his earnings as offering to the God. "
