EL - Beth - EL

God said to Jacob arise and go to Bethel, and live there, and make an altar to the God. Jacob said to his family members, and others with him, to put away strange Gods and be clean, and change your garments. He further said, let us go to Bethel, and built a altar to the God, who answered me in the day of distress. Jacob came to Luz the land of Canaan, that is Bethel and built an altar there, called it EL - BETH - EL, because God appeared to him when he fled from the face of his brother. Again God appeared to Jacob and blessed him, and said to him, I am God almighty, be fruitful and multiply, and a nation and company of nations shall be of you, and kings shall come out of your Loins. And the Land  which I gave Abraham and Issac, to you I will give it, and for your children, I will give it after you, and God went up from him. Jacob setup a pillar in that place and poured oil thereon and called name of place Bethel.

They journeyed from Bethel, after some time Rachel was in hard labor and died after giving birth to Benjamin. Jacob set a pillar upon her grave, that is the pillar of Rachel's grave, unto this day. Jacob came to Mamre, the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Issac sojourned. After living 150years Issac died, his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
